Let me introduce myself…….

My Name is Jeremy Barry. I reside in the largest intact temperate rainforest in the world.

Well what do you want to know about me? I am an enigma, well I mean I kind of am I live on a remote island, and who do you know that lives on a remote island? Ok but seriously… As the header says my name is Jeremy. I am a photographer and videographer who resides in Ketchikan Alaska.

I’m, also surrounded by the Tongass National Forest. At 17 million square acres the Tongass is the Largets National Forest in the United States. It also happens to be part of the largest intact temperate rainforest in the world. Where I live we average about 15’ of rain a year. Yes, that’s a lot of rain.

Originally though I am from Washington, and moved to Alaska originally in 2011 and then met my wife who was originally from here. I have been taking photos since 2008 where my first camera was a Nikon D90. My current photography gear is a Fuji Film GFX 50sii and Canon R5.
